Guided setup is ideal if you’re a smaller business and are planning to focus on dotmailer’s core features initially.
This self-service option puts you in control of the onboarding process and we’ll give you all of the documentation you need to get your account set up. But don’t worry, you’ve still got access to free support and a Digital Marketing Specialist from our onboarding team should you need it; we’re just on the end of the phone or an email.

Managed onboarding is designed to make your migration as smooth as possible, with a dedicated onboarding project manager to see things through till the end. This service is ideal if you’re a busy team and you want a smooth but swift switchover; most customers are migrated within 3-6 weeks.
It all starts with a kick-off call to make sure we’ve captured all of your requirements. Our onboarding experts will work to your deadlines, keeping you updated during weekly calls. Plus, you’ll also get progress alerts from our project management system so you can monitor the switch in real time.
Your account will be set up to your needs, including integration installs, and we’ll organize any template builds and platform training so everything’s set for day one.

You’ll enjoy all of the features of our managed onboarding service plus a bulk of extra support so you can get back to ‘business as usual’ quickly and painlessly. Your onboarding project manager will coordinate the setup of multiple accounts, managed users and insight data storage, along with any integrations or production – such as automations and templates – that you’ve purchased.
Making sure your emails make it to the inbox is top priority, too, so our expert deliverability team will get involved in the ramp-up and IP warming process, should you opt for a dedicated IP, to secure strong inbox placement from day one.
We want you and your team to get the most out of dotmailer and not only will we guide you through the migration process, we’ll also help set up the most relevant training for your organization.
