East Croydon
Job description:

Our company and product is growing fast and we want to expand our development team to match. We work in small teams following an Agile methodology, and you'll be an active team member helping us build killer features and solve problems of scale. We work in a great office and don't take ourselves too seriously. We love technology and our codebase is ours to look after for the long-haul. We want you to build good quality maintainable software to be proud of.

Our front-end teams look after some really nice applications, with EasyEditor, our segment builder, and our automation builder being some highlights. We've written our own JavaScript libraries, as well as investing in AngularJS. We also use the ubiquitous jQuery, and Raphael. We’ve begun the move to Typescript and we love it – but there’s a long way to go to convert our large codebases. We're always looking at the latest frameworks to see how they could help. We target the latest browsers, so you’ll only worry about IE11, there’s no legacy here.

We’re headquartered on the 20th floor of Croydon's most iconic building; "Number One Croydon" right next to the mainline station. As part of our continued growth, we have expanded our operations across the world with other offices in Manchester, Minsk, Cape Town, Sydney, and New York.

We're looking for someone with strong JavaScript (3+ years) and Typescript experience, who can bring experience as well as new perspectives to our product. You’re also sharp with HTML/CSS, and have touched some of the modern frameworks like Angular, React, etc. We work closely with our talented team of back-end devs, so any knowledge of the ASP.NET stacks would be a big plus.

The techs we’re using include the following:

  • Javascript
  • Typescript
  • Angular
  • jQuery
  • SASS
  • Grunt
  • Visual Studio 2017
  • TFS (for ALM)
  • Git (for source control)
  • Teamcity
