Supporting Marriott Vacation Club email campaigns as they grow and expand
Marriott Vacation Club chose dotMailer in 2007 as their Email Service Provider.
Previously their email campaigns had been handled by an external agency but the new Creative Services & E-Marketing Manager, Chris Burniston, wanted to bring the channel in-house in order to reduce costs and to have greater control over the email campaigns sent. In 2007 email was a very small channel for Marriott Vacation Club and dotMailer felt to be a good fit.

Email Campaign Growth
Over the years, the Marriott Vacation Club's email campaigns have grown in number, volume and sophistication. The dotMailer email marketing platform has been able to support Marriott Vacation Club in their email growth, providing functionality and features that are easy to use.
Years later we are still using dotMailer, and see no reason now to move away. They have constantly developed their application and continue to do meaning that as my needs have changed, dotMailer has been able to accommodate all of my requests while still retaining its ease of use and cost effectiveness.
Site Builder & Survey Tool
The launch of dotMailer's Site Builder and Survey Tools in 2008 have proved exceptionally useful to Marriott Vacation Club who sometimes struggle to be able to create and publish web pages in time to dispatch email campaigns.
Chris says,
both of these functions have been valuable at different times when we have wanted to send out an impromptu email campaign and haven't had time to have pages hosted on our website. They have enabled us to quickly produce personalised landing pages for our emails and set up branded surveys for our customers without the need for a dedicated survey solution.
dotMailer continues to develop new features and functionality that only help to drive our email marketing campaigns further. Email now is such an important communications channel within Marriott Vacation Club and much of its success is due to selecting the right partner to grow with us in the first place
