Animals Matter

Building an online movement

WSPA launched the campaign Animals Matter to collect signatures and create an on-line movement in support of the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare. Designed in six different languages (English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic) the website was branded to allow partner organisations maximum visibility.

The ‘get involved’ section, is jam-packed with resources to help activists and the media – and designed to help convert casual visitors into active supporters. Visitors can also use the site to share photographs of their own pets and animals with family, friends… and the world!

One and half million signatures later the on-line movement is well on its way.
