Our founding Directors
Dave Ivy - Creative Director with 10 years in the web design industry. Dave has designed and art directed for a wealth of top name clients including the BBC, BT, WaterAid, Stonewall, Hewlett Packard, Brighton Tourism and many more. Dave ensures dotMailer's high standards are maintained across all our work, from websites to intranets, extranets, microsites, email templates and landing pages. Dave also has detailed third sector knowledge, benefitting clients in these areas time and time again.
Simon Bird - Technical Director was involved originally in setting up the first major online internet access provider, back in 1995. Simon has 10 years' web technical expertise, acquired working with such names as the BBC, Bank of England, HQhair.com, BT, Wellington, BMS, Reuters and many more, delivering websites, intranets, extranets, Content Management Systems and many other online solutions. All in all, there’s not much Simon doesn’t know about the web and how to apply its benefits to your projects.
Tink Taylor - Business Development Director has over 12 years' experience in electronic interactive communications. Previously Tink worked on the roll-out of global corporate CMS-based intranets at IBM and has extensive experience in introducing the concepts of email marketing to companies new to the field, as well as servicing major brands such as the BBC, Shell, HP and WaterAid. Tink joined the Direct Marketing Association's Email Marketing Council in 2006 and became a fully elected member in 2007. He also sits on the Internet Advertising Bureau's Ecommunications Council.
Our Digital Director
Skip Fidura - Digital Director joined the dotDigital Group in January 2009 with a remit to build our digital strategy services offering. Skip's been in marketing for over 14 years, most recently as Email Partner at OgilvyOne London and prior to that as the Director of European Operations for Acxiom Digital. He has worked with clients such as BT, Kodak, hp, Intel, and Travelocity.co.uk. Skip is also Vice-Chairman of the UK DMA Email Marketing Council and was listed by Revolution Magazine as one of the 50 most influential people in new media.
Our Managing Director
Peter Simmonds is a qualified FCCA, as well as a photojournalist, a yachtmaster and pilot. He has 20 years' board level experience in banking, finance and insurance and previously set up a number of businesses in fields as diverse as intellectual property, client relationship management and mentoring business leaders. Peter also has a strong track record of steering businesses through periods of change, including business acquisition, structural change and rapid organic growth.
